How Carioca handles your data
Everything you generate inside the app —players, games, scores, history, settings— is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. We have no servers where anything is synced, we don't use analytics, we don't use ad tracking and we don't integrate third-party SDKs that collect information about you or your usage.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices without restoring your iOS or Android backup, previous data is lost — it doesn't exist anywhere we can access.
User accounts
Carioca has no user accounts, login, or profile. We don't ask for your email, name, phone number, or any identifier to use the app. Because there's no account, there's no account-deletion process either — there is nothing to delete from our systems because there is nothing stored.
If you want to erase your local data (saved players, game history, settings), just uninstall the app from your device. That removes all information generated by Carioca.
Operating-system crash reports
If you have "Share Analytics" or "Crash Reports" enabled in your iOS or Android settings, the operating system may capture technical reports when an app crashes unexpectedly. Those reports are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. They may share anonymized, aggregated versions with us via App Store Connect / Google Play Console so we can improve the app, but they don't contain your game data, personal identifiers, or identifiable usage information.
In-app tips
Carioca includes an optional tip jar processed directly by Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, depending on the platform. Pewén Labs does not receive, process, or store your payment data — those are handled by the respective platform under their own policies:
We only receive aggregated payout reports from the store at each settlement period. We don't see who paid, when, or with what card.
If you contact support
If you write to us at contacto@pewen.dev with a question, bug report, or suggestion, we keep that correspondence for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We don't use it for anything else, we don't share it, and we don't add it to any marketing database.
App Store privacy labels
In App Store Connect, Carioca is declared as "Data Not Collected". That's the cleanest category Apple's system offers. Any other label would be false.
Children and minors
Carioca is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. Since we also don't collect data from anyone, the point is moot — but we state it explicitly to comply with COPPA, GDPR-K, and equivalent regulations.
Your rights
Under Chile's Law 19.628, GDPR (EU / UK), CCPA (California), and equivalent regulations, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, and portability for your personal data. Because Carioca does not store any of your personal data in any system of ours, these rights are automatically satisfied: there is nothing to access, rectify, delete, or export on our end.
If you still want to confirm this or have a specific question, write to us at contacto@pewen.dev.

Changes to this policy
If Carioca changes how it handles data —for example, if a future version adds cloud sync— we will update this policy, notify users inside the app before activating the feature, and, where required, request explicit consent. The "Last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any controversy shall be submitted to the courts with jurisdiction in Santiago.
